Kicked out by Tesla? Musk faces "double layoff".

On April 30th local time, The Wall Street Journal cited sources familiar with the matter as saying that due to the drop in stock price of American automaker Tesla and some investors' dissatisfaction with the company's CEO Elon Musk's attention to the White House, Tesla's board of directors has begun to seriously consider finding a successor to Musk. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that board members have contacted multiple headhunting companies in an attempt to find the next CEO of Tesla.
