According to BYD, in the first quarter of 2025, the global export volume of BYD's new energy vehicles reached 214,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 117.27%, and won the sales champion in several key markets worldwide. As of April 2025, BYD's new energy vehicles have landed in 112 countries and regions around the world, covering six continents, thanks to technological innovation and a complete industry chain layout. In 2024, BYD ranked first in the world with 4.27 million units of global new energy vehicle sales, with an export volume of 433,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 71.8%, leading in growth rate among Chinese car brands (Shenzhen Special Zone Daily).
