Spot gold rose more than 5% in April, and the Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index rose more than 5.8% in accumulation.
On Wednesday's New York closing, spot gold fell 0.89% to $3287.77 per ounce, with a cumulative increase of 5.34% in April. After dropping to $2956.71 on April 8th, it continued to rise, reaching $3500.10 at 14:00 Beijing time on April 22nd, hitting a historical high. It then fell back to around $3300 and continued to trade at this level. COMEX gold futures fell 1.04% to $3298.90 per ounce, with a cumulative increase of 4.64% in April, trading between $2970.40 and $3509.90. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index rose 1.14% to 187.49 points, with a cumulative increase of 5.84% in April.
