The two-year US Treasury yield fell by more than 28 basis points in April, approaching 3.43% at one point.
On Wednesday's New York session, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond fell by 0.97 basis points to 4.1619%. It has dropped by a total of 0.89 basis points since April, after hitting a low of 3.8564% on April 4th and then rebounding to 4.5864% on April 11th, before gradually giving back some of those gains. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond dropped by 4.92 basis points to a daily low of 3.6007%. It has dropped by a total of 28.24 basis points in April, trading in a range of 4.0305% - 3.4305%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year US Treasury bonds increased by over 5.8309 basis points to a daily high of +94.140 basis points, with a total increase of 26.668 basis points in April.
