At the close of the European session on Wednesday, in April, the yield on the 10-year UK government bonds fell by 23.4 basis points, closing at 4.441% at the end of the European session on April 30. The yield on the 2-year UK bonds fell by 39.3 basis points, to 3.803%. The yield on the 30-year UK bonds fell by 7.5 basis points overall, rising and then falling back. The yield on the 50-year UK bonds fell by 11.1 basis points overall, rising and then falling back. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK bonds increased by 15.899 basis points overall, to +63.561 basis points.
