Yu Huafeng, Secretary of the Mentougou District Committee, stated that in recent years, Mentougou District has taken the development of the capital in the new era as its main priority, adhering to the integration of culture, tourism, agriculture, forestry, commerce, and education for development, actively exploring effective pathways to use the tourism industry to assist in the construction of "poetic and picturesque rural areas." By promoting brand projects such as the "Mentougou Courtyard" boutique guesthouses and the Tangu fashion business district, the district continuously enhances the carrying capacity and appeal of the cultural and tourism industry. Liu Zhuang, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, pointed out that 2025 is a critical year for accelerating the construction of a strong tourism country. Beijing will fully play its role as a demonstration and leading city to promote high-quality development of culture and tourism, helping to build an internationally renowned tourism city and the first choice for inbound tourism in China.
