In Yuexiu district of Guangzhou, 44 classes were reduced to the first grade of primary school this year.

On April 28th, the Education Bureau of Yuexiu District in Guangzhou released the enrollment plan for compulsory education schools in 2025. In 2025, Yuexiu District plans to open 313 teaching classes for first grade in primary schools, which is a decrease of 44 classes compared to last year. The enrollment plan for public junior high schools has not changed significantly from last year.
