In the first quarter, the number of commercial flights at Macau International Airport increased by 2.4% year-on-year to 13,621 flights.

According to the information from the Zhitong Financial APP, data from the Macao Statistics and Census Bureau shows that by the end of the first quarter of 2025, there were a total of 252,523 registered motor vehicles in Macao, representing an annual increase of 0.7%. Cross-border car traffic in the first quarter increased by 22.9% year-on-year to 2,555,372 trips; ferry flights increased by 1% to 19,988 trips; and commercial flights at Macao International Airport increased by 2.4% to 13,621 flights. The number of mobile phone users (1,458,046 households) and internet registered users (797,077 households) at the end of the first quarter increased by 4.5% and 7.7% respectively compared to the previous year.
