Vizion Container Data Company: Freight booking volumes from China to the United States have sharply declined.

According to statistics from the container data company Vizion, recent freight booking volumes from China to the United States have sharply decreased. From March 24th to April 14th, the container booking volume from China to the United States dropped from 134,911 TEU to 81,239 TEU, a decrease of 39.9% in three weeks. Since the announcement of the "tit-for-tat tariffs" policy, the freight booking volume from China to the United States has dropped to below 100,000 TEU, experiencing a "significant collapse" with year-on-year decreases of 21.3% and 44.5% in the first two weeks of April. Although booking volumes rebounded slightly in the third week of April compared to the previous week, they still decreased by 48.6% compared to the same period last year.
