WeChat Security Center: Some third-party tools are illegally obtaining user data under the guise of "AI managing user WeChat chat records" and other purposes.

On April 30th, the WeChat Security Center issued a notice stating that they have recently discovered that some third-party tools bypass WeChat's security measures in the name of "AI managing user WeChat chat records" to illegally obtain or use WeChat user data. In order to protect users' legitimate rights and interests, WeChat will crack down on such behaviors in accordance with relevant national laws and regulations, the "Tencent WeChat Software License and Service Agreement," and the "WeChat Personal Account Usage Guidelines" among other platform rules. The WeChat Security Center reminds users not to install or use any third-party tools that access local chat records.
