Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: In the first quarter, the value added of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 11.5% year-on-year, with growth rates 5 and 1.8 percentage points higher than those of the industrial sector and high-tech manufacturing industry during the same period. In March, the value added of the electronic information manufacturing industry above designated size increased by 13.1% year-on-year. In terms of main products, the production of microcomputers reached 79.56 million units, an increase of 7.5% year-on-year; integrated circuit production reached 109.5 billion units, an increase of 6.0% year-on-year; and the production of smartphones reached 274 million units, a decrease of 1.1% year-on-year.
