Modern China recalls some imported Enicar 5N electric cars.

Modern Car Investment Co., Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the National Market Supervision Administration. As of now, a total of 168 imported Eneco 5 N electric vehicles produced between July 11, 2024 and November 28, 2024 will be recalled. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience reduced braking efficiency and longer braking distance when driving in left foot braking mode due to unreasonable settings in the vehicle control module and integrated electronic braking software, increasing the risk of collision and posing a safety hazard. Modern Car Investment Co., Ltd. will provide free upgrades for the vehicle control module and integrated electronic braking software for vehicles within the recall scope through authorized repair stations to eliminate safety hazards.
