Air China will open a direct route between Beijing and Toronto on May 20th.

On April 20th, Air China announced that starting from May 20th, 2025, they will operate a direct flight route between Beijing Capital International Airport and Toronto. The flight number will be CA993/4, and the flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday using a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Prior to this announcement, Air China had already opened a route between Beijing Capital and Vancouver. With the addition of the Beijing Capital-Toronto route, Air China will have a total of 2 routes flying to Canada.
