BlackRock CEO: Currently, Europe is "not the best place for entrepreneurship"
Larry Fink, CEO of the world's largest asset management company, BlackRock, currently believes that Europe offers many opportunities, not despite the global economic uncertainty, but precisely because of this uncertainty. "In the short term, Europe will definitely be one of the beneficiaries, as can be seen from the flow of funds, with funds moving from the US to the European continent," he said in an interview. However, in order for Europe to benefit in the long run, some reforms are still needed. "The main criteria I use to measure the future development capabilities of the EU are whether it can ultimately establish a true capital market alliance and a true banking alliance, as well as whether it can reduce excessive bureaucracy and speed up approval processes," he said. He also stated that currently, Europe is "not the best place for entrepreneurship." Fink added, "If I were in charge of EU decision-making, building capital market and banking alliances would be top priorities."
