Silicon Industry Sub-association: Industrial silicon market transactions were light this week, and spot prices continue to decline.

On April 30th, according to the news from the Silicon Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the spot price of industrial silicon continued to fall this week. In the past week, the closing price of the main contract fell from 8875 yuan per ton to 8540 yuan per ton, a decrease of 3.77%. The national comprehensive price was 9648 yuan per ton, down by 126 yuan per ton. In terms of different grades, 553 was 9402 yuan per ton, 441 was 9855 yuan per ton, and 421 was 10256 yuan per ton, with decreases of 139 yuan per ton, 168 yuan per ton, and 85 yuan per ton respectively. The comprehensive prices in Xinjiang, Yunnan, Fujian, and Sichuan were 9551 yuan per ton, 10206 yuan per ton, 15163 yuan per ton, and 10300 yuan per ton. FOB prices remained stable. The industrial silicon market did not see a significant improvement this week, with the closing price dropping to a low of 8540 yuan per ton. Overall, downstream demand is insufficient, supply is relatively sufficient, market transactions are light, sentiment is pessimistic, and spot prices continue to fall.
