Silicon Industry Sub-Association: Limited trading in the polysilicon spot market this week, prices gradually easing.

According to the news from the Silicon Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the spot market for polycrystalline silicon had few transactions this week and prices gradually weakened. The transaction price range for n-type recycled materials was 37,000-45,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 39,200 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.73% compared to the previous period; the transaction price range for n-type granular silicon was 36,000-38,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 37,000 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.63% compared to the previous period; the transaction price range for p-type polycrystalline silicon was 31,000-35,000 yuan/ton, with an average transaction price of 32,300 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.12% compared to the previous period. As of now, most of the polycrystalline silicon enterprises in production in China are operating at reduced load levels. It is expected that the production of polycrystalline silicon in May will continue to be maintained at around 100,000 tons, but there is strong uncertainty in the production scheduling of polycrystalline silicon enterprises this month.
