Auto giant Stellantis suspends full-year performance guidance due to uncertainty from Trump's tariffs policy.
Car giant Stellantis Group announced on Wednesday that it is withdrawing its full-year financial guidance due to the uncertainty caused by former US President Trump's inconsistent trade policies. The multinational group owns well-known brands such as Jeep, Dodge, Fiat, Chrysler, and Peugeot, among others. Net revenue for the first quarter was 35.8 billion euros, a 14% decrease compared to the same period last year. Stellantis CFO Doug Ostermann stated in a release, "While revenue for the first quarter of 2025 was below the same period last year, other key performance indicators reflect our initial progress in market recovery." The company stated that due to the uncertainty of tariff policies, it will cancel its 2025 financial guidance and emphasized that it is "closely monitoring" the tariff policy trends of policymakers.
