AstraZeneca announces latest progress in China investigation

On April 30th, AstraZeneca revealed to reporters the latest progress in the investigation the company is undergoing in China. "Regarding the alleged infringement of citizens' personal information, AstraZeneca has received a 'Case Transfer Review Prosecution Notice' from the Baoan Branch of Shenzhen Public Security Bureau concerning the suspected infringement of citizens' personal information. The company has learned that it did not gain any illegal profits from such acts of infringing citizens' personal information." AstraZeneca also stated that they will continue to fully cooperate with relevant departments in China.
