Hankeis: RoboBus, the first in China to pass the national "Technical Conditions for the Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles" certification, accelerates the commercialization of autonomous driving.
Kanshe Holdings' joint venture company Hankes announced on its official WeChat account today that in China, autonomous vehicles must meet the national standard GB 7258-2017 "Technical Conditions for Safe Operation of Motor Vehicles" to ensure their safe operation on public roads. As a low-speed autonomous passenger-carrying equipment product, PIX Moving's RoboBus is the first in the country to pass the GB 7258 standard testing and obtain the "Compulsory Project Detection Report for Motor Vehicle Safety Operation" for its self-developed software and hardware full-stack autonomous minibus. This not only qualifies them, but also serves as a ticket to commercialization, as RoboBus enters the fast lane of commercializing autonomous driving. Additionally, RoboBus's key systems and components have been certified according to the EU's ECE regulations, and have obtained a public road autonomous driving vehicle testing and operation license in Italy. Furthermore, RoboBus has already obtained an autonomous driving public road license in Guiyang, and will gradually apply for nationwide autonomous driving permits in the future to promote the large-scale implementation of intelligent transportation.
