In order to effectively carry out the national highway traffic service guarantee during the "May Day" holiday, the Road Network Monitoring and Emergency Response Center of the Ministry of Transport, in conjunction with the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security, the Public Meteorological Service Center of the China Meteorological Administration, the Institute of Planning and Research of the Ministry of Transport, Qianfang Technology, Gaode Map, and Baidu Map, organized a joint assessment meeting on the operation of the road network during the "May Day" holiday. It was pointed out that the flow of new energy vehicles has significantly increased. It is expected that the flow of new energy vehicles during the "May Day" holiday will account for nearly 20% of the total daily flow, showing a significant increase compared to the same period in 2024 and the Spring Festival in 2025.
