Today, the national railways are expected to transport 18.7 million passengers, with plans to add 1,166 extra passenger trains. As of yesterday, the number of cross-border international passengers on the China-Laos railway has exceeded 500,000. On the highways, starting from 2 p.m. today, commuter traffic and early holiday travel demand will intersect, leading to increasing traffic pressure on the road network, with the peak period expected to be between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. In civil aviation, it is estimated that the daily passenger transport volume will be 2.15 million during the holiday period, with the highest number of ticket bookings on routes between Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, as well as between Beijing and Shenzhen, and Chengdu.
