The relevant person in charge of the National Bureau of Statistics stated at the "Marketization and Value Realization of Data Elements" sub-forum held on the 29th that accelerating the marketization and value realization process of data elements, the way in which data value is realized will become more diverse. The relevant person in charge of the National Bureau of Statistics introduced that accelerating the value realization through scenario-based approaches, the enabling role of data elements continues to be highlighted, and the work of asset entry into the table is steadily progressing. As of now, 88 listed companies have disclosed their asset entries, with assets totaling 24.86 billion yuan, an increase of 70 companies and 23.82 billion yuan compared to the first quarter of 2024. Luan Jie, the person in charge of the Policy and Planning Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated that the essence of the value realization of data elements is the process of data entering the economic and social system as a production factor and creating and realizing value. At the same time, it also encourages more operators to participate in the construction of the data market, promoting the deepening development of marketization.
