OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated on social media that the latest update of GPT-4o has been rolled back starting last night. The rollback for the free version is now 100% complete, and the update for the paid version will be done later. Additional fixes for the model's personality are expected to be implemented later in the day, with more information to be shared in the coming days. Previously, Altman wrote, "Recent updates to GPT-4o have made its personality too flattering and annoying, and we are working to fix it as soon as possible."
