A-share annual report disclosure ends, nearly 70% of companies plan to distribute cash dividends.

As of 9:00 pm on April 29th, 5304 companies have disclosed their 2024 annual reports, with 2546 companies achieving year-on-year growth in net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies. From a dividend perspective, 5294 listed companies have announced their profit distribution plans for 2024. Among them, 3638 companies plan to distribute cash dividends, accounting for 68.68%, with a total planned dividend payout of 1.65 trillion yuan; excluding financial stocks, companies such as China Mobile, PetroChina, Shenhua Group, Moutai, CNOOC, and Midea Group are among the top in terms of planned dividend amounts. Wind data shows that the overall dividend yield of A-shares has reached 2.56%; by industry, the coal industry is at 5.97%, and the banking industry is at 4.83%. In the first quarter of 2025, the sectors that saw a significant rebound were mainly concentrated in traditional industries; sectors such as agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery, steel, building materials, computers, non-ferrous metals, media, electronics, and machinery equipment showed a noticeable rebound.
