Release of large-scale long-read long RNA sequencing dataset
A team of scientists led by the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research's Genome Institute of Singapore has released one of the largest and most comprehensive long-read long RNA sequencing datasets to date - the Singapore Nanopore Expression Dataset. This achievement is expected to address a long-standing technical bottleneck in disease research, allowing researchers to more accurately decipher the complex structure of RNA, laying a solid foundation for the development of next-generation precision diagnosis and treatment strategies. The related research was published in the latest issue of the journal "Nature Methods".
