The Table Mountain National Park wildfire in Cape Town, South Africa has been contained. Warning still not lifted.

On the evening of the 29th local time, the South African National Parks Management Authority issued a bulletin stating that the recent wildfire raging at Tokai in Table Mountain National Park has been successfully contained. The 200 local residents who were evacuated urgently the day before have also safely returned home. Despite the fire being under control, the authorities strongly urge the public to stay away from the affected areas, as they are still extremely dangerous. They also require hikers, cyclists, and all citizens to refrain from entering the closed areas of Table Mountain Park.
