On April 29, Chongqing Beer released the first quarter report for 2025. The report shows that from January to March 2025, the company achieved beer sales of 883,500 hectoliters, an increase of 1.93% year-on-year; achieved operating income of 4.355 billion yuan, an increase of 1.46% year-on-year; achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of 0.473 billion yuan, an increase of 4.59% year-on-year; achieved a non-recurring net profit of 4.67 billion yuan, an increase of 4.74% year-on-year. Looking at a longer period of time, the revenue and net profit growth rates in the first quarter are at near 5-year lows. In terms of product grades, the company's economy products priced below 4 yuan achieved revenue of 0.91 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 6.09%; high-end products priced above 8 yuan, and mainstream products priced between 4 and 8 yuan achieved revenues of 26.02 billion yuan and 15.5 billion yuan, respectively, with growth rates nearly flat compared to previous years, at 1.21% and 1.99% respectively.
