According to data from AVC cloud network, after being included in the national subsidy program, the net sales of water purifiers in the first quarter of 2025 reached 4.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21%, with the net retail sales of water dispensers reaching 700 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37%, especially for products focusing on user health and diverse needs. It is worth noting that compared to certain developed countries, the penetration rate of water purifier products in China is much lower. With the increasing demand for household and commercial water purification in recent years, the market penetration rate of water purifiers is expected to accelerate in this round of national subsidies, and this new category of household appliances may face more intense and complex market competition.
