National Energy Group: The daily production of self-produced coal has matched the highest single-season record in history.

On April 29th, Huang Qing, the spokesperson of the State Energy Group, stated at the first quarter press conference held by the group for the year 2025 that in the first quarter, the State Energy Group actively responded to changes in the energy market, proactively adapted to the trend of market supply and demand rebalancing, tackled difficulties, worked hard, and achieved new results in promoting business development. Huang Qing introduced that the State Energy Group fully promoted power generation, sales, and integrated synergy, effectively completing major activities and important supply tasks. Domestic coal production has maintained a level of 50 million tons for 42 consecutive months, with daily production reaching historical quarterly highs, and the market share of coal shipping in Northern ports remaining above 40%. The electricity generation totaled 296.4 billion kilowatt-hours, with new energy generation increasing by 21% daily compared to the same period last year, and the growth rate of solar power generation maintaining a leading position. The transport industry expanded non-coal logistics, with railway, port, and non-coal shipping volumes increasing by 7.8%, 27.4%, and 486.3% respectively, reaching a historical quarterly high.
