On the morning of the 29th local time, two tram cars collided in the center of Warsaw, Poland, causing 18 people to be injured. The accident occurred at the De Gaulle roundabout in the center of Warsaw, where Jerusalem Avenue, New World Street, and Krakow Suburbs Street intersect. Both tram cars were heading towards Zawisza Square at the time. According to spokesman Urbanoowicz of the Warsaw tram company, after the two tram cars collided, 18 people were injured, including one tram driver. All emergency departments and rescue teams have arrived at the scene, and the specific cause of the accident is still under investigation. Currently, tram traffic on Jerusalem Avenue is suspended in both directions.
