Our country's first "Artificial Intelligence Meteorological Application Service Measures" were released today.

The China Meteorological Administration and the State Internet Information Office jointly issued the departmental regulations "Artificial Intelligence Meteorological Application Service Measures", which encourages, promotes and regulates the healthy and orderly development of artificial intelligence meteorological application services. The "Artificial Intelligence Meteorological Application Service Measures" is the first departmental regulation in China to promote and regulate application in the field of artificial intelligence. Positioned to promote the development of new meteorological productivity through legislation, with "encouraging promotion, regulating application, and supervising management" as the main line, the regulations make specific provisions for artificial intelligence meteorological application services from three aspects: support and promotion, application service specification, and supervising management, promoting the healthy and orderly development of the industry. As the first legal regulation on artificial intelligence meteorological application services among the members of the World Meteorological Organization, the Measures also provide a Chinese solution for the governance of artificial intelligence meteorological application services.
