Hong Kong Immigration Department: It is estimated that about 5.71 million people will enter and exit Hong Kong during the Labour Day Golden Week.

According to the Zhifubao Finance APP, during the mainland Labour Day holiday period (from May 1st to May 5th), the Hong Kong Immigration Department (HKID) is expected to have approximately 5.71 million people (including Hong Kong residents and visitors) entering and exiting Hong Kong through various land, sea, and air control points. After consultations between the HKID and the Shenzhen Immigration Inspection General Station (Immigration Inspection General Station) and other mainland departments, it is estimated that about 4.9 million people will enter and exit Hong Kong through various land border control points. The busiest day for land exits is expected to be May 3rd (Saturday) with approximately 590,000 departures, while the peak day for incoming traffic is expected to be May 5th (Monday) with approximately 580,000 arrivals.
