Kamla Persad-Bissessar will become the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago.

On April 28th, local time, based on preliminary vote count results, the opposition United National Congress party in Trinidad and Tobago won in the country's House of Representatives elections. Its leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar will become the new Prime Minister and form a new government.
