During the "May Day" holiday, the Southern Railway will add 460 trains and launch 7 types of tourism ticket packages.

It was learned from China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd. that the railway transport period for the "May Day" holiday this year is from April 29th to May 6th. During the 8-day period, Nanchang Railway is expected to send 10.28 million passengers, an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period last year, setting a new record. Among them, Jiangxi is expected to send 5.32 million passengers. In response to the new characteristics of holiday passenger flow, Nanchang Railway has added 460 passenger trains between long-distance directions such as Shanghai-Hangzhou, Guangzhou-Shenzhen, Beijing, and popular cities in Jiangxi and Fujian provinces. Among them, 258 night high-speed trains have been added on major railway lines such as Shanghai-Kunming, Hefei-Fuzhou, and Nanchang-Ganzhou. The high-speed train sets on popular routes such as Nanchang-Shanghai and Fuzhou-Shenzhen have been adjusted for length to fully ensure capacity and guarantee passengers' holiday travel. At the same time, on intercity lines such as Nanchang-Jiujiang and Fuzhou-Pingtan, there will be frequent train services every 20 minutes to achieve "bus-like" service.
