Shangtai Technology: Will spare no effort to promote the construction of the Malaysia project, which is expected to start production in the first half of 2026.

Shangtai Technology stated during a telephone conference on April 28 that the company's focused capacity expansion plan for 2025 includes the construction of a project to produce 50,000 tons of lithium battery anode materials per year in Malaysia, as well as an integrated project in Xiyang County, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, to produce 200,000 tons of lithium-ion battery anode materials per year. It is anticipated that both projects will commence construction in the third quarter of 2025. Given the current situation, the company will further expand its efforts to attract overseas customers and expand overseas markets, with a strong focus on advancing the construction of the Malaysia project. It is expected that this project will be ready for production in the first half of 2026. By 2027, the company's effective production capacity of artificial graphite anode materials will exceed 500,000 tons.
