The National Copper Corporation of Chile (Codelco) stated that the Chilean Nuclear Energy Commission has authorized SQM to produce an additional 300,000 metric tons of lithium carbonate equivalent within the current contract period between SQM and the Chilean Economic Development Agency for Production Promotion.
