CBOT wheat fell in the Chicago market, with uncertain demand as continuous rains in the American Plains region strengthen forecasts of ample US supply. According to The Hightower Report's report on Monday, the rainfall has alleviated the drought in the southern Plains, with significant rainfall in northern Texas and Oklahoma. More rain is expected this week. There was also precipitation in the western drought areas of Kansas over the weekend, which should help improve growing conditions for hard red winter wheat. Meanwhile, demand for US supply is constrained due to US President Trump's tariff measures. Wheat futures contracts for July fell by 3.3% on Monday, marking the largest decline in two months. Last week's decline was the largest in about a month.
