The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the key points of the 2025 automotive standardization work: Accelerate the development of mandatory national standards for safety requirements of autonomous driving systems.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the key points of the 2025 automotive standardization work, strengthening the supply of intelligent connected vehicle standards. It will promote the approval and implementation of standards for conditions for automated driving design, automatic parking, and automated driving simulation testing. It will accelerate the development of mandatory national standards for the safety requirements of automated driving systems and establish a safety baseline for automated driving systems. It will speed up the revision of mandatory national standards for combined driving assistance systems and automatic emergency braking systems, revise standards for lane-keeping assistance systems, promote the development of standards for reverse assistance, and enhance the safety level of driving assistance products. It will promote the implementation of standards for LTE-V2X direct communication vehicle information exchange systems, promote the formulation of standards for convoy driving, digital keys, and network information assistance, and accelerate the application of networked functions. It will promote the implementation of standards for information security engineering, accelerate the formulation of mandatory national standards for automotive passwords, complete the review of data security management systems, and the classification and grading standards for automotive security vulnerabilities, accelerate the development of important data identification standards, and enhance network security and data security capabilities. It will promote the development of standards for intelligent cockpit function evaluation, interaction security, and biometric monitoring, improve the standard system for intelligent cockpits and human-machine interaction, conduct research on standards for vehicle artificial intelligence, and lead the integration and application of new technologies.
