On the morning of April 28, the National Bureau of Statistics held a meeting in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, emphasizing the need to deeply understand the role and development rules of data elements, focusing on building a national integrated data resource development and utilization system. The meeting stressed the importance of market-oriented value orientation, strengthening integration, sharing, open access, authorized operation, accelerating the implementation of public data development and utilization policies, and unlocking the value of public data. It also highlighted the importance of promoting infrastructure connectivity, value co-creation, scenario applications, accelerating innovative pilots for trustworthy data spaces, and creating new models for data circulation and utilization at scale. Additionally, it emphasized the need to strengthen interest coordination, entity cultivation, and ecosystem aggregation to cultivate an open and innovative data industry ecosystem. Lastly, it stressed the importance of data registration, resource investigation, and standard construction to continuously strengthen the work foundation, effectively promote the high-level development and utilization of data resources, and better empower the high-quality development of the economy and society.
