National Energy Administration: China has built a basically perfect green certificate system, and the issuance of green certificates has achieved full coverage.

According to the Securities Times APP, on April 28th, the National Energy Administration held a press conference to release information on the energy situation in the first quarter, the operation of renewable energy in the first quarter, interpret the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on Promoting the Development of the Private Economy in the Energy Sector" and the "China Hydrogen Development Report (2025)", and answer questions from journalists. Pan Huimin, Deputy Director of the New Energy and Renewable Energy Department, stated that China has already established a basically perfect green certificate system, with full coverage of green certificate issuance. Next, the National Energy Administration will work with relevant departments to: 1. Continuously strengthen communication with RE100, promote the introduction of technical guidelines for Chinese green certificate purchases, and better serve Chinese companies in purchasing green certificates; 2. Enhance communication with major trading partners on green certificate issues, and accelerate the international mutual recognition of green certificates; 3. Continuously carry out green certificate promotion, conduct various forms of policy promotion activities, and provide assistance to companies in purchasing and using green certificates, as well as answering questions and solving problems.
