Foreign investment targets China's happy economy. Several theme parks announced their plans to settle in Shanghai.
As the holiday approaches, the booking demand for theme parks continues to rise. Theme parks like Shanghai Disneyland Resort and Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park are popular among families with children and young users. In recent years, the theme park consumer market has been heating up, with many foreign investments targeting opportunities to accelerate the development of China's "happiness economy." Shanghai LEGOLAND Resort is currently busy with equipment testing and plans to officially open in July this year; the "Harry Potter Studio Tour" is set to open in 2027; in March, Peppa Pig World announced that it will officially open on Chongming Changxing Island in Shanghai in 2027. In recent years, China has become a hot spot for major theme park investments globally. According to the General Manager of the China LEGOLAND Resort, China is the world's second largest theme park market, with the market expected to exceed 50 billion RMB by 2027.
