The Ministry of Finance has allocated 3.76 billion yuan in disaster prevention and relief funds for agricultural production to support anti-drought measures and ensure spring planting in the Yellow River and Huai River regions.

Recently, the Ministry of Finance, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, allocated 376 million yuan of central government funds for agricultural production disaster prevention and relief, supporting six provinces including Shanxi, Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Guangxi, and Shaanxi to carry out drought relief and related work. The funds will be used to provide appropriate subsidies for measures such as fertilizing and seedling protection, watering and soil moisture replenishment, and crop replanting in the affected areas, aiming to alleviate the impact of disasters, and provide strong support for promoting a bountiful harvest of grain throughout the year.
