On the 27th, Liu Jing, Deputy Director of the National Atomic Energy Agency, stated at the 2025 Spring Nuclear Energy Sustainable Development International Forum that recently, the National Atomic Energy Agency of China is organizing the compilation of a comprehensive long-term development plan for the nuclear technology application industry, exploring the establishment of a promotion platform for the nuclear technology application industry, focusing on over fifty application scenarios, researching and developing a mature technology and product catalogue, and promoting the growth and strength of the nuclear technology application industry. In the future, 15 more nuclear technology research and development centers will be established to further stimulate technological innovation and industrial development in the nuclear technology application industry.
