Wang Yi meets with Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Kyrbaev
On April 26, local time, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Kurbayev in Almaty. Wang Yi said that China and Kyrgyzstan are connected by mountains and rivers, and the two sides have always trusted each other and treated each other with sincerity, making them reliable and trustworthy brothers and partners. Under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Zaparov, the relationship between the two countries has developed rapidly, and both sides are working together to build a community of shared future with good neighborliness and mutual prosperity. China firmly supports Kyrgyzstan in choosing a development path that suits its national conditions, and strongly opposes any external interference in Kyrgyzstan's internal affairs under any pretext. We believe that Kyrgyzstan will continue to support China's legitimate position on issues involving core interests. We are willing to work with Kyrgyzstan to implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, maintain high-level exchanges, deepen strategic mutual trust, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and bring more benefits to the peoples of both countries and the region.
