Airbus acquisition of supplier Spirit's facilities enters countdown, involving A350 and A220 production.

According to reports, Airbus is set to finalize a deal to acquire certain facilities from supplier Spirit Aero Systems, including the company's factory in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The agreement is expected to be announced as early as next week. The European aircraft manufacturer has been in negotiations with Spirit since last year. Under the agreement, Airbus will transfer the work Spirit does for its key projects, involving factories in Belfast, North Carolina, Morocco, and France.
