New national health supervision spot check plan released, first explicitly targeting online "medical scalpers".

The National Health Commission and two other departments recently jointly released the "National Random Supervision and Inspection Plan for the Medical and Health Field in 2025." Compared to the 2024 plan, the 2025 plan has made adjustments in terms of regulatory scope, adding new regulatory areas such as internet diagnosis and mental health, and for the first time explicitly targeting new illegal activities such as online "medical agents," further strengthening public health and medical order governance.
