The list of occupational diseases has increased to 135 types, starting from August 1st of this year.

From April 25th to May 1st is the 23rd National Week for the Promotion of the "Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China". In recent years, China has been continuously promoting actions to protect occupational health, safeguarding the health and related rights of workers. The new version of the "Classification and Catalogue of Occupational Diseases" has increased from the previous 10 categories with 132 types of occupational diseases to 12 categories with 135 types, which will be implemented starting from August 1st, 2025.
