Measles outbreak in the United States spreads, confirmed cases increase to 884.
On April 25th, local time, according to the latest data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States, the number of measles cases in the country has increased to 884. The data shows that cases have been confirmed in 29 states, with at least six states reporting three or more related cases. According to the Texas Department of Health Services, as of the 25th, at least 646 cases of measles have been confirmed in western Texas. Dr. Langel, dean of the University of Michigan Medical School and CEO of Michigan Medicine, said that the number of cases nationwide and in Texas may be underestimated.
