The United Nations Security Council strongly condemns the terrorist attack in Indian-administered Kashmir.
On April 25th local time, the United Nations Security Council issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack that occurred on April 22 in the Indian-controlled Kashmir region. It reiterated that all forms and manifestations of terrorism are among the most serious threats to international peace and security. Members of the Security Council reiterated that any terrorist act, regardless of its motivation, and regardless of where, when, and by whom it was committed, is an inexcusable criminal act. All countries must, in accordance with the UN Charter and other obligations under international law, take all necessary measures to combat the threat posed by terrorist acts to international peace and security.
