The suspect in the shooting of senior executives at UnitedHealth Group denies the murder charges.

On April 25th local time, CCTV reporters learned that the suspect Luigi Manzione, who shot and killed Brian Thompson, a senior executive of United Health Group, has pleaded not guilty to federal murder charges. Earlier, Brian Thompson, the CEO of United Health, was shot on his way to a investors' meeting in midtown Manhattan on December 4, 2024 in New York City. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi earlier this month stated that she had instructed acting U.S. prosecutor Matthew Podolsky to seek the death penalty for Manzione.
